So I have been listening to Sirius Radio and their trucking channel. They have talking a lot about something called CSMA 2010. This is a Federal Government program in the states which is like our CVOR program here in Ontario.
The program makes sence to me. For too long those driving truck and big rigs have not had a program which tracks their skill or lack of on the road. Great, finally they are going to be on the same footing as the rest of us Canadian drivers out there. And I hope that this program will help to reduce the # of US drivers on the roads who are soiling our good name as professional truckers.
Here are some of my thoughts and rants about life in general and more about life as a professional trucker as I drive and work in a the busiest city in Canada Toronto, Ontario. What is it like to driving on a highway with 16 lanes?

Have you noticed?
Well it looks like winter driving season is soon going to be over. We really didn't a long one this year. ONly a few good snow storms to remind the general driving public about how fragile our lives really are and how we should be careful on the roads.
I just have to wonder if it would be worth it to even buy snow tires this summer for the winter season?
